Refugee's work with orphans inspires Belmont [Tennessean]
This guy was resettled in Nashville from Sierra Leone along with his wife and two children in 2001 and took a job as a landscaper at Belmont. He took advantage of the educational perks and earned undergraduate and Master’s degrees so he could eventually teach, which is what he did back in his home country. He also launched the nonprofit Rufoindu Education Project in 2005 for Orphan Children to help kids back in Sierra Leone while working at Belmont and Burger King. I totally remember him, too. People are amazing.
