5/365. Eyes, like onions, are weird. I had no idea that eyestrain was a real thing that happens to people until it started happening to me this year. A lot! I can actually feel it coming on now which should be my cue to give ‘em a break, but I don’t really know how to give my eyes a break, you know? You can’t ace-bandage your eyeballs. You can stop staring at a screen, but then you just end up staring at something else. Or at least I do.
Twitching and straining and itching aside, eyes are also neat. So much color and texture. This guy and all of his friends’ eyeballs made for one of my favorite photo sets of 2010.

About

Sometimes I write things on Nashvillest.com and other times I work a real job that involves lots of airports, hotels, spreadsheets and the occasional pantsuit. Avid roadtripper, lover of redbud trees and firm believer in taking the scenic route. These are a few of my favorite things.

Ask me anything.
