Drove for 10 hours from DC to Nashville today, which is the longest stretch I’ve ever driven. It went pretty quickly because I had a bunch of albums and playlists lined up to listen to. One of the playlists contained Radical Face, one of several projects from a guy named Ben Cooper that I first heard at Fido one night a few years back. I haven’t listened to it in ages, but it’s one of my all-time favorite albums. After some googling, I found that he’s planning to put out a series of three LPs this year. I think he’s an illustrator by day or something and seems to just fit all the music in where he can, so I think that’s why it takes so long for each of the projects to come together. But I think that’s part of what I like about it. It’s not a spectacle; it’s just good.

So anyway, this song/video is from an EP he released a few weeks ago. Excited for whatever comes next.
