Spent some quality time with this guy today. We played a great game of gin rummy and it was close, but he still won (he always wins.) Then he told me lots of stories about the first time he saw my grandmother, the day his father left, joining the army at 16, racing down the Autobahn and running around Europe, and I decided that I want to be one of those old people who has a lot of good stories to tell.
