A few things, in no particular order:
- The Sufjan record agitates me, but I can’t stop listening. It’s been a while since any record has put me on edge like this. I like that there’s music that can do that.
- I have arm muscles, and I’m very proud of them as I feel I have earned them. I promised my grandfather at some point that I would be able to beat my mom at arm wrestling the next time I came home and I think this might actually happen. She completely slaughtered me the last time we attempted this, I am ashamed to admit.
- My entire family has a birthday this month, including my cat. I am the January oddball, which is okay. Dear family + cat, I’m glad you were all born even if it was all in the same month. Very glad.
- I like working. The key is to also play hard. My life is pretty dense and I prefer it that way.
