Mumford & Sons, War Memorial Auditorium.
Once upon a time, Mumford & Sons came through Nashville and played a soundcheck party, a private pre-show at the Basement, a main show at War Memorial and then a secret after-show at the Station Inn in one day. I made it to two of those, and the last one is still going strong at almost 2am. The War Memorial encore involved a bluegrass blowout with Old Crow Medicine Show and the greatest rendition of “Roll Away Your Stone” that I will probably ever hear. Nashville, you’ve got all my love tonight.
More photos, which I will weed through later.

About

Sometimes I write things on Nashvillest.com and other times I work a real job that involves lots of airports, hotels, spreadsheets and the occasional pantsuit. Avid roadtripper, lover of redbud trees and firm believer in taking the scenic route. These are a few of my favorite things.

Ask me anything.
