Jónsi. The Tabernacle (Atlanta, GA). I don’t think this thing is a human.
Not really even sure what to say about this show. After watching the livestreams of the Brussels and LA shows, I thought I may have spoiled it for myself. And then I found myself being swept up by this beautiful monsoon of sound and an angelic voice coming from that weird, awkward man covered in feathers and it’s the most gorgeous thing I’ve ever heard. At risk of sounding completely lame, that record has meant the world to me. I’ve enjoyed and appreciated my life this year more than I ever have, and I’d be lying if I said that “Go” didn’t have at least a small part in that. It’s music that melts fear.

About

Sometimes I write things on Nashvillest.com and other times I work a real job that involves lots of airports, hotels, spreadsheets and the occasional pantsuit. Avid roadtripper, lover of redbud trees and firm believer in taking the scenic route. These are a few of my favorite things.

Ask me anything.
