Today is May 31 and here are my upcoming travels:
Next week: Portlandia, round 2
Rest of June: Long Island - Especially excited about this one because I think it means I get to see my bearded sibling and his ladyfriend and their sweet kittehs.
This is not an upcoming travel, but working from home/wherever is awesome and so is running around the country*.
*even if I must sometimes wear a pantsuit.

Finally finished my month-long training thing for New Job and now I actually get to start working. I can’t really believe a month just went by, but it’s been awesome so far and I feel really accomplished and endlessly thankful for all of this at the same time. It still feels like one of the most bizarre turns my life could have taken right now.

Today is May 23rd and here are a few truths:
My Monday had 26 hours and my Friday will have 22
Portland is by far the prettiest city I’ve been to, and that’s purely based on the initial pass-through on the interstate

Definitely Portland. They’ve got several microbreweries in the airport, a couple of great coffee shops and a mini Powell’s Books. And weirdly enough, I still really like Nashville’s airport. They’ve added a lot of great local flavor and the crowds rarely...

Today is May 16th and here are some boring life...
I’m in Memphis for a week. And considering I was just here, I would say my 2011 Memphis quota has been exceeded. That said, I will die before I leave this town without some Rendezvous ribs.
Somehow I ended up in a 2-bedroom loft hotel room. I plan on sleeping upstairs tonight, downstairs tomorrow, and whichever one I like best on Wednesday.
